At an early age, I developed a bit of a staring problem. Any fascinating feature - an interesting cheekbone, upper lip, or eyebrow, I couldn't help but gaze at ... sometimes to admire, other times to re-style or re-shape in my head. Every face is an interesting and beautiful one, and playing with the colors and configurations is not only an artistic expression, but an emotional one.
My fascination for artistic expression with color led me to Vancouver, to attend the world-renound Blanche Macdonald Makeup Institute in 2004, and I have been working as a Make Up Artist since; mainly in fashion, runway, and editorial; with experience at beauty counters, T.V & film, and stage. Currently I am teaching a Makeup Workshop in New Westminster, and working as a freelance Makeup Artist for clients from all over the world.
Everything about this industry inspires me; but the people that I have had the pleasure to work with, and for, are the reason I cannot wait to see another day that brings me the opportunity to do what I love. Please take note of the contributors to my body of work, they are fabulous in their own right. Thank you for visiting.
